Project Description The design team was selected to provide pre-design services for the renovation and/or replacement of the 45-year old City Council Complex. Services included a Needs Assessment, Resource Evaluation and the development of a Strategic Plan. Conclusions from the report recommended that the Court functions and its associated spaces be moved into a new, more secure, courthouse facility, located directly across the street from the City Council Complex. Building highlights include numerous courtrooms, judges’ suites/chambers, state-of-the-art technology and building security, public light filled spaces, and a welcoming landscaped courtyard.
