Description
The Middleton Group
Built circa 1798 by Revolutionary War hero and continental congress delegate Christopher Gadsden, the Gadsden House is a grand, Federal style Charleston manor listed on the National Historic Register. This historic property recently completed a full restoration of the exterior, interior, and grounds to be converted into an event space available to the public. All restoration work was completed with the partnership and guidance of the Historic Charleston Foundation. The house was listed by both the Preservation Society of Charleston and the Historic Charleston Foundation as one of the top historic properties to save and restore.
